Cathodic Protection Cables

Thermo Cables manufactures Cathodic Protection Cables which is designed to provide robust defense against corrosive gases and brackish water in various applications. Our cables feature a PVDF fluoropolymer insulation, coupled with an HMWPE (High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) jacket, ensuring unparalleled protection and durability.

The Polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) inner layer stands out for its exceptional chemical resistance, making it particularly resilient in the presence of corrosive elements such as chlorine, sulfuric acid, and hydrochloric acid. This advanced insulation material serves as a reliable barrier against environmental factors that contribute to corrosion. The outer layer, comprised of High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (HMWPE), offers superior dielectric and tensile strength, providing additional protection to the cable. This resilient material can withstand substantial abuse during installation, ensuring longevity and reliability in challenging environments.

Thermo Cables’ Cathodic Protection Cables are specifically engineered for underground DC power supply feeder applications, catering to cathodic protection systems for pipelines, storage tanks, and other buried or submerged structures. Our cables play a crucial role in safeguarding these vital assets against corrosion, offering a dependable solution for long-term performance and durability.
